What makes the difference between CentralStationCRM and other customer relationship management software (CRM)?

To make it short: it is as incredible easy to use and our customer support is quick and proficient.

What can CentralStationCRM do for you, what not?

CentralStationCRM is made for small teams of 1-30 people. For most users in small companies the everyday work with the customers and the clients, the history is much more important than numer crunching and analytics. This is why in CentralStationCRM you find the relevant data like the address, e-mails, internal notes to do's and files all right next to your contact, no matter if it is a person or company. For e-mail campaignes or newsletters tags help to filter and categorize your leads and contacts. The deal section gives you an overview over your expected income and is an easy way to keep track of how your sales are doing. Once you won a deal, you turn it into a project and start with tasks and to do lists.

Why could CentralStationCRM not be the right CRM system for you? When you are primarly looking fo a controlling tool. For example if you need to know which employee needs how many calls or time to close a deal. CentralStationCRM won't tell you that. The same applies for a very tight rights management so that user one can only see the contacts from A-B, the other user the contacts from C-D and so on. We are conviced that this kind of managing user rights has a more harmful than positive effect, so we do not offer it.

How long does it take to start and do I get support by CentralStationCRM?

CentralStationCRM is pretty much self-explanatory and easy to use even for people who do not have much of IT or CRM experience. For an easy start we offer free online webinars as well as an extensive help system. If this is not sufficient to answer your questions, we are always happy to help. Our response time to user questions was around 15 minutes last year. We will not leave you alone.

How do I get my data into the CRM system? And how do get them out again?

Besides the possibility to enter and edit contacts by hand, existing files can also be imported into the CRM system. We accept digital business cards (vcards, like you can generate from Outlook, Apple Contacts, Gmail, etc.) as well as Excel-files and spreadsheets.

To export your data out of CentralStationCRM, we offer those formats too (vcard, Ecxel) together with special html- and xml-files for a full data export. This one can be used as a personal back up or to switch to another CRM system.

What are the technical requirements? (Windows, Mac, mobile, etc.)

All you need is a device with an internet connection.

CentralStationCRM is a “Software as a Service (SaaS) and works online. This means to access your data all you do is to open our website, enter your login details and start to work. You do not need to download or install anything, just if you were using the web interface of your email provider. If you are a Windows user or an Apple fanboy, if you prefer Android over iOS or tablets over smartphones, CentralStationCRM runs on all of them. This also means that you can do your CRM job at every place, as long as there is an internet connection. If you enter a clients address from your office, your collegue can work with this information right away, no matter if he or she is at the office as well or already on his way to the potential customer.

Is there an integration to certain programs like Outlook, Apple Mail or Gmail?

CentralStationCRM is easy to combine with standard programs like Outlook, Apple Mail or Gmail. This means just by a few clicks you can import contacts, drop e-mails or connect the CRM-calendar to your own one. And even better, you do not even need to decide for one software within your team. While you might to prefer your Mac, your collegue can go with Microsoft Outlook and the third one with Thunderbird. Alle of them work fine with CentralStationCRM.

Is it possible to connect external programs or are there any integrations available?

To work with standard solutions like Outlook, Apple Mail and so on you do not need to do anything at all, that works already perfectly fine. Even the integration of CentralStationCRM into your website can be done with just a few clicks. Apart from that we have selected software partners which complement the CRM Software in a useful way like a newsletter or finance software. If you use any special software in your company you are always free to connect it via our Application-Programming-Interface (API). You find a documentation on our 42he company website. But please consider, such an integration always requires the effort of a IT developer.

How does CentralStationCRM handle data privacy?

We run our servers in high security computer centers in the south of Germany. File attachments like pdf or word documents are stored independently in a different computer center in the EU, in the Republic of Ireland to be more exact. CentralStationCRM follows the German data protection regulations. To continuously ensure the compliance of data protection we cooperate with external experts.

And just to make this clear: your data means your data, without fuss or quibble. Not just because we commit ourself to high standards of data privacy, but because misusing your data would mean to sabotage our own business model. Is my data safe with CentralStationCRM?

Yes, your data is safe with us. We run our servers for your data storage in modern computer centers, which are state of the art as well as monitored day and night, 24/7. By using a modern server infrastructure and frequent security updates we do everything possible to keep your data safe. Daily backups and redundant storage offers the highest level of safety. Further every access on CentralStationCRM is made via an encrypted SSL-connection, similar to the encryption used by leading banks.

Does the 30-day trial oblige me to anything?

To put it in a nutshell: No, nothing.

The 30 day trial is free without any obligations whatsoever. After the 30 days you will receive an e-mail where we ask you which option you would like to choose: either one of the paid plans, the free plan or if you want to delete the account. Even if you don't react to this e-mail this has no consequences for you. Not until you decide for yourself to use one of the fee-based plans and enter your payment details we call it a contract. You can continue using your account after the 30 days. If you want us to remove your test data this, just shoot us a short note and we will help you out.

Can I change my plan in case I need to add users or reduced my contacts?

Yes, no problem. You can switch your plan anytime yourself within your account settings. The monthly fee of CentralStationCRM is calculated on a daily basis, so if you up- oder downgrade your account on the 20th of the month, you will be charged for 20 days in one plan, and 10 days in the other.

What if I want to leave CentralStationCRM and switch to another system?

If you want to leave CentralStationCRM all you need to do is go to your account settings, click on "data export" and afterwards on "quit account". That's it. From the next day you don't pay a single penny anymore, there is no waiting period or long-term contract.

We don't want to put lipstick on the pick: a full migration of CRM-Data is always annoying and time-consuming. Nevertheless we try to make it as easy and smooth as it can get for our users to leave us, if they aren't fully convinced or if their requirements have changed. We are absolutely convinced that the only way to keep customers with us is by providing high quality, not by attaching strings like long term contracts or locking the data.

How we can afford such a fair policy? Because we know about the qualities of our software and we made the experience, that if you once fall in love with CentralStationCRM, you won't quit. And if so, it is absolutely fine with us.
